Attorney Kurt Goehre and Attorney Steve Krueger of the Law Firm of Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. have been nominated to become members of The Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Nominated attorneys have been selected for exhibiting significant accomplishments in their career and the legal profession, and for providing leadership and service to their community. Attorney Goehre has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyers® Rising Star for five consecutive years. Kurt concentrates his practice on employment law and on commercial litigation. As a member of the Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry employment team, he is one of four attorneys who provide quarterly workshops and webinars to businesses and human resource professionals on the subject of employment law. In service to the community, Kurt is a member of the Board of Directors of Villa Hope, Inc. which provides residential treatment and mental health support, and is a past member of the steering committee of Brown County Teen Leadership. Kurt is also actively involved in the State Bar of Wisconsin Insurance and Member Benefits Committee. Attorney Steve Krueger was recognized by the “Wisconsin Law Journal” as a Leader in the Law for 2018, and has also earned Wisconsin Super Lawyers® Rising Star status for five consecutive years. Steve is extremely active in the community. Among a long list of other boards on which he serves and has served, he is currently President of Friends of Pals, Children & Families, an organization benefiting the Pals Program and other entities within the Brown County Health and Human Services Children, Youth and Families Division, is past President of the Board of Directors of Golden House, a domestic abuse program and shelter in Green Bay and past Chair of the Steering Committee for Leadership Green Bay. In addition, he serves the State Bar of Wisconsin as Vice Chair for the Leadership Development Committee and is a member of the Lawyer Referral and Information Services Committee. Steve concentrates his practice on business law, commercial real estate and commercial litigation. The purpose of the Wisconsin Law Foundation is to “promote public understanding of the law, improvement of the administration of justice and other law-related public service through funding of innovative and creative programs that improve the vision of the American justice system.” Some examples of the Foundation’s efforts include support of the Wisconsin State High School Mock Trial Tournament, providing grants which benefit young adolescents through teen court programs, and helping Spanish-speaking litigants navigate the family court system. Membership in the Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation is considered a professional honor and evidence of distinction. Attorneys Goehre and Krueger will be honored and recognized as Fellows at a special reception in Madison on October 10th.
