David H. Weber

David is a shareholder in the firm’s litigation department and has been with the firm for over 20 years. He concentrates his practice in complex litigation, including commercial, intellectual property, shareholder disputes, dealership, insurance, product liability, and personal injury matters.

David has successfully represented clients in high-stakes litigation, serving as lead counsel in over 55 jury trials. Four of his clients have secured jury verdicts exceeding one million dollars, and he has obtained three punitive damage awards. His extensive trial experience equips him to advocate aggressively in court when necessary. However, his approach always prioritizes the client’s best interests, whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

He recently defended an intellectual property rights and breach of contract case against his client that involved an eight-figure settlement demand prior to trial. David won summary judgment, leading to the case being dismissed in federal court before trial. The matter was ultimately resolved on appeal in the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, with David’s client paying nothing in settlement.

I enjoy the deep sense of gratitude when a client expresses that I have made all the difference in achieving the best possible outcome under their unique circumstances. My clients can expect to receive my undivided attention in solving their problems, whether that means doing what it takes to successfully prosecute or defend a lawsuit, or keeping a dispute out of the court system altogether. I have the trial and appellate experience needed to understand the end game and thereby help my clients evaluate their options and pursue their goals most effectively.
