Next Topic in Environmental Health & Safety Roundtable: "Hot Enforcement Areas...And How to Avoid Them"
February 16, 2010
"Hot Enforcement Areas...And How to Avoid Them" is the next topic in the breakfast seminar series hosted by Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. and Bonestroo, Inc. (formerly Northern Environmental). This seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13th from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at our offices located at 231 South Adams St. in Green Bay.
About the Program:
The new administration in Washington and fiscal pressure here in Wisconsin are combining to change agency EH&S priorities. Increased enforcement emphasis comes at a bad time for industry as it continues to reel form economic recession. Decreased staffing levels and increased responsibilities make compliance assurance increasingly challenging. During this seminar, we'll review what the regulatory agencies say their priorities are, and what recent enforcement actions show the danger areas to be. Participants will share their insights, comparing recent Wisconsin compliance surveillance/enforcement experience with that in other jurisdictions.
The EH&S Roundtable provides an informal setting for industrial and commercial facility managers with EH&S responsibility to receive the latest information on timely issues - and share insights with their peers.
Registration will be available in early March - please check back.
