Green Initiative

Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. has gone 'green.'  Spurred by our electronic file management system, the firm has committed to being an environmentally conscious business and has implemented sustainable business practices.  In doing so, the firm was named a Law Office Climate Challenge Partner by the Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER) of the American Bar Association (ABA).

Our efforts to date include:

• Replacing bottled water with glasses, pitchers and water coolers
• Installing automatic light switches in offices
• Purchasing energy-star rated computers and appliances
• Replacing all office paper, paper towels and bathroom tissue with versions containing a minimum of 30% recycled content 
• Encouraging everyone to print double-sided
• Continuing to recycle discarded paper, file folders and envelopes 
• Replacing disposable plates and plastic silverware in the kitchen with real plates and silverware
  

The firm also started an aluminum can drive with proceeds to be donated to local environmental groups that will be selected annually by the firm's Green Initiative Committee. 

Future 'green' plans include adjusting the thermostat for moderate seasonal temperatures and utilizing the firm's state of the art video conferencing technology to reduce travel costs and impact.
