Michele M. McKinnon concentrates her practice in banking and creditors' rights and business law. Michele's practice focuses primarily on advising creditors on financial transactions including loan documentation, work out agreements,
foreclosure and replevin actions, the Uniform Commercial Code and bankruptcy rights. She is one of the few local attorneys designated by the Small Business Administration to prepare 504 loans.
Prior to attending Buena Vista University, Michele worked as a paralegal for five years in Iowa. While in law school, she was an active memberof both the National Trial Team and the Moot Court Board of Directors. She was also a member of the Pro Bono Society where she volunteered her time to assist indigent clients. Michele also served as a legal intern at the National Labor Relations Board in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
