George BurnettMr. Burnett practices in general litigation. He concentrates in commercial, personal injury, workers compensation, employment, civil rights, real estate, intellectual property and insurance coverage litigation. He also practices regularly in federal courts. Mr. Burnett is a past-President of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He has been elected a fellow to the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Foundation, and to the Wisconsin Bar Foundation. He is also listed among the Top 50 Wisconsin Attorneys by Wisconsin Super Lawyers magazine. He co-authored the chapter on jury verdicts in the State Bar of Wisconsin treatise, Wisconsin Trial Practice. He is a frequent lecturer at the State Bar Convention and at numerous advanced seminars in legal education. Mr. Burnett has been twice elected to and is past-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Litigation Section for the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, where he was elected to the Board of Directors and served as a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Burnett was also an officer of the Robert J. Parins Inn of Court. He is a member of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, Eastern District Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and Brown County Bar Association. Mr. Burnett is admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts of Wisconsin and Michigan, the Sixth and Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the Supreme Courts of the State of Wisconsin and the United States of America. He has served the community as a member of the Board of Directors of Cerebral Palsy of Green Bay, the United Way Allocations Steering Committee, as a corporate member of the Curative Workshop, as President of the Home/School Association for Notre Dame School in De Pere, and as a member of the Parish Council for St. Mary's Catholic Community in De Pere.
