April Rockstead Barker practices in the firm's litigation team. Her practice emphasizes commercial and insurance litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. A 1995 graduate of Harvard Law School, Ms. Barker began her career with Jenner & Block in Chicago before returning to Wisconsin. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Barker graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism and was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Since graduating from law school, Ms. Barker has also worked for Legal Services of Northeastern Wisconsin, where she represented indigent clients in civil and administrative matters.
